Posting Pictures: 5 Easy Steps

Those of you that are dying to post pictures on their respective blogs and are inhibited by the lack of info will be encouraged by the following:

To post pictures the easiest way, follow these 5 easy steps:

1. Gain access to a computer somehow.
Buying one is the best solution if you have $$$.
(stealing one is cheaper but illegal in most states)
2. Connect to the internet. Stay connected. This is important.
3. Have some pictures on your computer somewhere.
If you don't have access to pictures, then why are you reading this?
4. To post on a blog you must first have a blog. So get a blog.
(A bdiary or bjournal can substitute for a blog if a blog is unavailable)
5. Now you are ready to post your pictures! Good luck!

Here is a sample of a posted picture:

Great fun! We look forward to all of your pictures. Happy posting!

This Blog Thing...

So, I (Bethany) have sort of realized that my blog is where I share all the emotional, girly things that are going on in my heart...and this one, well I feel it is a bit more informative. Brad and I are doing well. We have found a place to live in Denton...although no job news as of yet. (sometimes I feel we are doing this backwards...aren't you traditionally supposed to have a job prior to finding a place to live in a new city? But let's be honest...have Brad and I ever really been traditional?) So the apartments are called the Timber Links and they are lovely. They are new, with brand new appliances (a bonus seeing as I'm convinced our current appliances, which are almost ancient, are broken...although this technically can not be proven), AND brand new full size washer and dryer. (no repeat of the Seville...mark my words.) It's on a golf course with a pretty view, and the prices are incredible. The only part we don't like is the floor plans. Granted the floor plan is a major thing not to like...but the good outweighs the bad...right? We'll let you know in August.

A New Week

Bethany: So, it's Monday. Monday's are never really great...they always seem to have some major flaw that just makes you want to run back to Sunday. Like dealing with screaming children who don't know how to behave in public...or irrate, irrational women who think everything wrong in their lives is your fault because you didn't bend to their insane request...or compensating for those higher ups who sometimes forget to do their job.

And as if this particular Monday doesn't have enough drama packed into it's wee little hours...I'm sick and don't feel well. I'm coughing...sneezing...sniffling...and I think I have a temperature. I might go sit in the corner and whine...

what a lovely way to pass the time on a Monday...

Good luck Tuesday!

Finally Sushi

Brad: And sushi was great. Very cheap but excellent in quality. I had a plate full of different rolls and pieces. Have price! Also a cup of miso soup: so-so. The rest: day-lish. We still fought through traffic to get there and thank goodness we made it. We enjoyed the company of our good friends The Griggs (if you don't know them, you should get to know them).

After Sushi: movie

Which movie you may ask? Sahara. I loved it: very enjoyable. You can read my review when I write it. Until then, don't even try to read my review. Got it? ok.

A Day For Me

Bethany: Thursdays have become my favorite day of the week. I'm learning to revel in my time off...to do all the things I love to do. To make my heart happy and get ready for the rest of the week.
I did some responsible things (like cleaning the kitchen and catching up on the weeks laundry) in the morning. As long as I do one responsible thing in the day, my spirit feels free to play. I got to have lunch with my husband...great food and even better company. I love to see him in the middle of the day; it feels like such a treat.
I sat at this little coffee shop for about an hour or so. I read two chapters in my book ("Emma" by Jane Austen...I'm into the classics right now), and wrote like crazy...so much so that a man sitting near me commented that I must have a lot to say. As a matter of fact, today I do. It's a good feeling.
Sushi tonight...for real this time. I'll have a little salmon roll and miso for the rest of you!

Chasing the Butterflies

Brad: Today was a good gardening day at the big Estate. The sun was bright and sunny. The butterflies were flying happily. Then the butler told me I had to catch butterflies for the boss's 15 year old daughter - for a school project. So in the afternoon I chased butterflies down by the creek. I caught one moth-like bug: small and somewhat butterflyish. They were hard to find today. I was running around with a fish-pond net. I also caught a blue dragonfly, but he got away. Oh, well. 'Tis the life of a gardner. . .right? (at least where I work).

Oh Gardener,
Go down by the creek
And gather all that you see
The Butterflies that fly free
------
Get them one by one
Catch them all until there's none
Of the Butterflies that fly
Down by the creekside
-----
Worry not about the flowers in the garden
Worry not about the grass that grows green
Concern yourself not
With any gardening thought
The Butterflies must be caught by the evening
----
So I'm chasing the Butterflies
and all the while the garden dies
As it breathes it's last breath
in a slow and thirsty death

Easy Evening

We were going out for cheap sushi in Richardson (at Sushi Loco) but hit really bad traffic. The happy sushi hour ended 5 minutes before we arrived. We went to Mi Cosina instead - split the "Mamma's Chicken"- good and cheap.

First Post Ever

Brad: Never had a blog before. I am not supposed to be here right now. I should be at work. This lunch break has taken too long. Flowers are dying, the lawn begs to be mowed, leaves and weeds are planning their invasion. I must return: now.
